Lost Girl

A Well-Read woman is a dangerous creation.

This Painting is something similar to my very own world.

All I want is – a calm place, comforting couch and a good book. I cannot believe that I haven’t touched a book on my own bookshelf in that long. It’s kind of disturbing in a way, all those beautiful books just sitting there, waiting for me to read them. I’m hoping I can start reading more things off of my bookshelves. My bookshelves were full of fantastic worlds that my imagination could explore.

I have never lost that thrill of finding a new world to sink myself into, and I hope I never will.

I’m funny, I’m shy, and I love to read. Not only do books let me explore other worlds, but they let me escape when this world gets to be too much for me.

“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! — When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.” – Jane Austin
